How To: Chalkboard Pegs

Hello! Hope your all well. I have a tutorial for you all today, finally! Been lacking on ideas but my mum finally inspired me for today's post. These Chalkboard shapes are really easy to make and fun to do. You can use them for all sorts of things.

You could use the same method to make chalkboards or other fun accessories for your house. They would make great tags for presents too. You could also add magnets to the back of your peg to stick on your fridge.
Hope you enjoyed the tutorial. Let me know if you make some!
Thanks for reading.

DIY Walnut Heart Necklace by Honestly...WTF

Hello guys, long time no speak! I hope you are all well!

As you might already know I love Honestly...WTF. They are pretty amazing, and always inspire me! I decided to do one of their tutorials where you make a necklace out of a walnut...pretty genius hey? I adapted it slightly for my own personal style. I used leather as the necklace and a wooden bead to hold the walnut in place.

I will be getting back into blogging on here over the next few weeks. I have some good ideas for tutorials and some nice cards to show you.

Greetings Cards

I made two greetings cards today, so decided to post pictures for you. If you want to try it for yourself, all I did was print the different words onto different coloured cards and stick them all together, easy peasy! Hope you like them!
Also, on a side note, I am going on holiday at the weekend so probably won't be blogging until the beginning of August, so stay tuned for more posts when I get back!

How To: Make a women's emergency clutch!

Have you ever had a button pop off your trousers while out? Need to write down an important piece of information and had no paper? Wanted to tie your hair up on a windy day but forgotten a hair clip? Well fear not, it won't happen again! This emergency clutch is a great way to always have all your essentials in one place, without it taking up the whole space in your bag! The design means it folds up on itself and isn't bulky in your bag. Scroll down to see how to make it.

1. You will need a piece of fabric approximately 60x30 cm and some ribbon/string/braid for the fastening. Plus your sewing machine and a needle and thread.

2. Hem all the way around the piece of fabric so it has neat edges.

3. Fold up one edge of the fabric, and pin the edges down. Also pin lines across this fold of fabric. This is to create little pockets for things to go in later!

4. Sew along the pinned lines, so you have created the pockets.

5. Do the same on the other edge of fabric. I have chosen to leave this as one big pocket but you could do the same as with the other side. But just remember the fabric will roll up on itself, and it might not be able to roll up if there are too many pockets.

6. Fold the fabric down the centre so the pockets are lying together, and find the middle centre on the back of one of the sections you have just stitched. Hand stitch the braid or any other tie you have chosen down.

7. You should be able to too know fold the fabric in half and roll around it self and tie to create the clutch.

8. Fill the pockets with anything you think you might want/need. Some suggestions are:
*Mini sewing set and buttons
*Nail file
*Tweezers
*Safety Pin
*Lip Balm
*Tissues
*Mirror
*Comb
*Mints/Gum
*Women's necessities
*Sachet of moisturiser
*Body Spray
*Hair Clips/Hair Ties
*Cotton buds
*Pen and Paper
* Paracetamol
*Plasters

9. Store in the bottom of your bag and you won't regret it. It will come in useful at some point!

Hope you enjoyed the tutorial.
Have you got any suggestions of things to put in an emergency clutch?
